More than 300 neighbors turned out on a Thursday for our 9/4 Meeting! Even though many families with school-age kids had back to school night, we packed the room. The Planning Staff was amazed at our community involvement—BRAVO!

People signed up to be street-captains, knock on neighbors’ doors, hand out flyers in the rush-hour backed-up traffic lines on the corner of Notley and New Hampshire Rd, and purchased yard signs and t-shirts.

Planning Staff presented for 30 minutes on its process and took community questions.

Then our community’s attorney, Michele Rosenfeld shared her comments about the developer’s revised Application. She shared optimism in her ability to effectively challenge the Notley Townhome proposal. Her technical knowledge & experience came into play as she laid our key issues that are challengeable based on MOCO zoning code standards.

Over the next few weeks, Attorney Rosenfeld will submit a series of letters (think legal briefs) to the Planning Staff about those concerns. We will post those letters.
